Everything we grow at Murphy Cattle Company is grown with love. This makes our meat looks, smells, and tastes better. We offer custom processing, USDA inspected , grass fed meats. We can tailor to any of your needs whether that be a certain breed of calf for process to a certain feed. Steers are processed anywhere from 16 months to 22 months old. You can’t beat Murphy’s meats so try it out yourself.
COW CALF OPERATION
We’re proud to offer our customers wholesome top quality cattle. Take home a cow, cow-calf pair, bred heifer, bull or a steer. There are lots to choose from and we have several different breeding programs to offer. These programs change depending on the time of year so you’ll always be surprised when you visit us. We breed exotics such as Zebu , Sardo Negro, Indu Brazil and Gyr. We also have standard commercial stock as well as registered Brahmans, Star 5 Santa Gertrudis, Angus, Charolais , Hereford and F1 Tigerstripe. Pretty much you name it we got it .You should know that everything we offer at our ranch is grown responsibly and is treated with the utmost respect. You can rest assure that your cattle with be more tame and less stressed than any other operation. We never use antibiotics or growth hormones. We are a carbon positive ranch and believe in pasture rotation and sustainability.

Buy our Hay to truly enjoy what nature has to offer! Since the 70’s we have become famous throughout South Texas for our hay. We make huge efforts so that we can guarantee that everything we offer at Murphy Cattle Company is 100% natural. Due to our efforts, we are able to assure you that all of our hay contains the healthy nutrients that normally get lost when grasses are traditionally grown.

Buy our Beef to truly enjoy what nature has to offer! we only process the healthiest and freshest steers for market usually at 1250lb with a carcass weight of 800lb we let our beef hang for roughly 14-18 days. we process our beef locally and is usda inspected so you can even sell out of your freezer. we do take deposits and you are more than welcome to come look at the steers that are available for processing. fill your freezer with the best meat possible. We make huge efforts so that we can guarantee that everything we sell at Murphy Cattle Company is 100% natural. Due to our efforts, we are able to assure you that all of our beef contains the upmost healthy nutrients that normally get lost when beef is commercially produced .

There are lots to choose from, and our offerings change depending on the time of year so you’ll always be surprised when you visit us. You should know that everything we sell at our store is grown responsibly and aged to perfection harvesting usually occurs from 18- 24 months of age our steers processed are usually Angus crosses for perfect marbling.our next beef available for purchase will be in June 2022 at $9.25 lb so lock in that rate now with rising beef prices , we offer veteran discounts as well. we sold out at a record rate for our April beef sales. you will get every cut of meat imaginable. please contact for more information
